we know DGIV is in active negotiations at this point, and as with any negotiations with sensitive issues, having the time necessary to go through all the issues is important. It is also important to be "discreet", which would explain the "quiet" mode. Would you want your competitors to know where you are and what is being negotiated? Of course not! Let's give DGIV the time needed to make its deals.

"what was the point of the
statement?" It's called "thinking out loud" and was offered in liew of < > thingies. I guess "what's the point" could be asked of about 90 % of the posts of late.
