I went to a Gadzooks store today and asked the manager if he knew anything about it. She told me Claire's has a 12% interest in Gadzooks but Claire's decided not to buy Gadzooks. She went on to say that Claire's is getting ready to open their own store of clothing in the same mall I was in which they would be in competition with Gadzooks. She said the rumor of Claire's buying them out was something they were concerned about for several weeks but she was certain they were not going to do it. Lynda
