I was in trying to buy all day yesterday, in the morning I had a 7 7/8 top with the stock at 7 5/8 x 7 3/4. Later I had an 8 7/16 top when it was 8 1/8 x 8 3/8.

Unfortunately, it's the way nasdaq works, stuff can even trade around and below your buy price and you don't get filled. I finally got a slug in the last 1/2 hour when someone desperate to sell dumped.

Bottom line, it's not always mm manipulation, it's just a crappy method of dealing with trading. Listed stocks are much much much fairer and easier to trade, nasdaq should trade that way, but as you can imagine the dealer market leaves much more room for trading profits for the market makers.
