>>U S West said it expects its high-speed ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) data offering will have about 20,000 to 25,000 customers by year-end, more than double previous projections. <<

I had DSL on order but cancelled it. I really, really want a USB DSL modem! One that is compatible with US Worst. I recently sold my USR Sportster ISDN modem (T.A if you want to get technical :)) and picked up a 3Com Impact External ISDN modem which I absolutely love! I never want to use internal cards again if I can avoid it, except for video cards, and my network card. Those Sportster drivers caused me two years of hell and I was going to ship the modem to Eric B but I got an offer of $75 so I sold it. I don't want to sound too lippy here but USR never delivered a good set of drivers for that card. I'd sure like to see more USB products hit!!
