GS, I recently jumped back into Novellus puts.

What is happening with the equipment cos is that as the estimates come crashing down, sometimes cos. will accidentally beat them. This is bad analysis, not a turnaround.

I totally agree with your timing of the sector, which should scare both of us. -g- But I've seen too many scams running these stocks up before Xmas to stick out my neck too far until after that date.

Many of the stocks are down so much that, though I wouldn't buy them with Abbey Joseph Cohen's share of the Goldman deal, I don't see much room for put profits. Teradyne and Kla are certainly good choices and probably more vulnerable as companies. Funny sidenote. Teradyne was one of the first cos I ever visited as a shavetail analyst.

I would love to see the biotechs get overpriced again. -g-

gs, i view the techs the same as you. i'll be playing again come january. so, run from your opinion as fast as possible, or so everyone would tell you ;-)

strectch the valuations of biotechs? when last year they were 200% higher than they are now? i only have one thing to say. streeeeetch, baby, streeeeeeeetch! :-)
