No idea why STBI got whacked, but picked up a few hundred shares anyway at the new low :), sure hope it's nothing serious.

======================================

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--STB Systems Inc.'s (STBI) shares dropped 23% Thursday
after Hoak Breedlove Wesneski & Co. downgraded the company's stock to hold from
buy.

In a research note, Hoak Breedlove said the company's management late
Wednesday reported problems with components used in its Velocity line of video
products.

The video graphic accelerator components STB purchased from NVIDIA Corp. have
also demonstrated problems in the past, according to Hoak Breedlove.

The firm said 30,000 Velocity 128 ZX boards were returned to STB by one of its
customers and an order for 60,000 boards was canceled.

"Product returns, an order cancellation and a potential inventory reevaluation
are expected to push STB into the red for the October quarter," Hoak Breedlove
said.

STB Systems stock recently traded down 1 7/16 to 4 5/8 on Nasdaq volume of 1.2
millions compared with an average daily volume of 248,053.
