Marci, Re your comments about the rumor of a Dell acquisition of Excite (originating from Infoworld 99), the following is from post #2454 on the Excite thread: Well, I was at the investment analyst conference here in New York, and XCIT made clear that there are no merger discussions with DELL. Furthermore, when questioned about the possibility, analysts said it would be a huge downer for DELL stock. So, I do not think they would consider it. Why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free.
