Ifmx still has negative momentum to overcome, as well as some degree of fear about the future. They must demonstrate the ability to deliver in the face of adversity. OK, to some extent they've done that.

Now they have to show they can survive the Y2K spending freezes and duke it out with Oracle8 and SQL 7 at the same time...while continuing to deliver the growth numbers that will justify 20+ pe's. That's what Wall St wants to see before we go higher, and it won't be easy.

It all depends on future expectations. There are chipmakers
who command a better PE and then there are software companies
that command a lower one.

I guess our differences lie more in our view of the future
prospects for the company.
