HC: Folks talk about Bollinger Bands. Here's how I use 'em, roughly speaking:

First, to make a determination you set yer B.B. moving average according to your investment horizon. Short term, then MA = 10. Intermediate term, then MA = 20, and for long term, MA = 50.

Then you run your B.B. with a parallel RSI run. The thumbnail analysis, based on BB & RSI is,

1) Stock trend may continue up when price touches upper band and RSI is less than 70.

2) Stock trend may continue down when prices touches lower band and RSI is greater than 30.

3) Stock may reverse from high to low when the price touches the upper band and RSI is greater than 70.

4) Stock may reverse from low to high when the price touches the lower band and RSI is less than 30.

5) When in the middle of the range....flip a coin. ;-)

Whew! Eye's twirling in the 'ol sockets? Heh! Just more thoughts while we wait....

John~
