My guess to why the price appreciation is this. If Cymer has indeed seen "light at the end of the tunnel", they may be using their cash buyback money here. Price is just slowly rising, like someone is constantly buying. I think short covering would be more "spurty". If the company IS buying, that is indeed a good sign (unless their lawyers are making them do it for lawsuit ammo.

I for one am still leary. I just don't see a turnaround yet, but what do I know. If (when) it hits 15, I will either deploy covered calls or buy puts. In fact, I may buy puts before earnings...just incase.

PS. I too have been wondering where Curly went. Seems very odd for someone who touted the stock so much to disappear when it is now rising. Odd, very odd.
