Fred: That's interesting news. One thing I couldn't get out of it is exactly when will they be making samples available? One read sounds like right now, ie 10/21. Yet if I recall L.D.'s answer to my question about a prior Hanil news report where it was mentioned that their plant would be operational(somewhat) by autumn of this year, he stated he found that hard to believe, that it'd "more likely be early next year...."

Be that as it may, it's still good news and tracks with everyone's thinking that 1999 just might be a very good year for VLNC. Let's see how it goes...

John~

Think about it; a battery 4"X4"X 1/4" that can store 4 amp hours.
Jeez Louise, what will the next generation be able to do? You'll probably be able to start a lawn tractor with the thing!

Dear Fred
The article says 50 billion Won or about $40k dollars.
From the valence press release valence/hanil as of
7/96 initial cap of $5 mil and would be raised to 10 mil
in one year. Hanil Telcom would then give loan guaranties
for another $40 mil. Does any one know how much has been
spent so far. Thanks in advanced
John
