CNBC was saying it was due to a few stocks...but really havent done any checking to tell you the truth

it was a great film for people who have not ever been involved in any union activity...member against member...even brother against brother...and the tough choices they all had to make....I am just surprised they let her film it...one thing I kept thinking was....every other word seemed to be a cuss word in the negotiations..and it made me look like an angel... ;-)

Scott....I hear what you are saying and figure you know more about that kind of thing given your expertise

here is another rumor i saw about XCIT...just reporting..dont know the validity

To all:

I haven't posted since the Alex Brown Conference because of my busy schedule.
Overall the Conference was upbeat but Alex Brown remained very cautious of IT
spending. The Alex Brown boxmaker analyst has basically said the same thing as the
analyst at Piper Jaffrey.I hope there are no more words of caution. As I said before, the
BUZZ was that Apple was going to have a blowout Q and they did. The stock looks
like it is in a consolidation faze.

I just returned home today from the Phoenician hotel in Scottsdale where they had the
Infoworld 99' Conference. Attendees included Yahoo, Earthlink, Mindspring, Oracle
etc...
The buzz going around the conference is that DELL will make their first aquisition ,with
a purchase of EXCITE!! People have said that the relationship thus far with Excite has
been a dandy for Dell.

I'll be away down in Florida next week at the Soundview conference so I will post
about my DELL insight next week.

Good Luck
