Trying to find the positive slant on the results. INPR is transitioning to a new Business Model, for which revenues increased substantially. Overall revenues were up slightly, because the other part of the transition is, by Plan, experiencing slower revenues. Judging the results, therefore, from the going forward model, things look much better than the Street's reaction. I'd be concerned if Enterprise sales were not doing as well, $1M deals were fewer, etc. while revenues from the older lines were keeping the numbers afloat. Still disappointed that the numbers didn't meet expectations, but not totally disappointed. Hopefully Q4 will "show us the Beef"! Just a "glass is half full interpretation". FWIW. Good Luck INPR!!!!!!!

Re: "Your $0.08 earnings are for nine months ending Sept 98! Only 0.02 for Q3 ending Sept 98."

It's actually .29 for Q3:

Diluted earnings per share were $0.29 for the quarter ended September 30, 1998, compared with a loss per share of $0.05 for the same quarter a year ago. Diluted earnings per share for the nine months ended September 30, 1998, were $0.08. This is compared with a loss per share of $1.03 for the nine months ended September 30, 1997, with restructuring and other non-recurring costs.
