Doc, I went long ALKS earlier. If it closes above $17 today, it officially breaks the resistence of the past 2-3 months and with today's official NDA application with GNE, it is poised for a breakthrough from here. If it can sustain its strength before close (which looks like it will), it may worth taking a position before close today.

Bought SKYT and sold Nov 17.5 call for a rich $1.

Anybody else here buy into Conoco [COC] today? Took a hefty position on what looks like some "safe" future profits <g>...
Still selling for its opening price, and holding really strong & steady in a day when the integrated oils are tanking in extremis...
It's priced with a PE lower than the sector, and will be paying a nice dividend for those that want a longer-term investment. I might just sock this one away until $36 or so, since my daytrading skills these last two months have "lewinskied" my portfolio of all '98 profits.
I think that COC is holding up the drillers also today, along with the good RIG earnings and terrible NE results. [65% rig utilization..aargh]
Good luck to all in this tough trading environment...
