Jon, the one newsletter I read has sent an update to cash out of short funds (particularly rydex URSA) and start getting long. NASDAQ today has broke above its 50 day moving ave. as well as its downward trendline. Cramer at TS.com had article yesteday about what to do when the FED starts easing (get long). This is enough for me, I can take a hint. The only fly in the ointment I see is the rapid advance we have had in 2 weeks. As for this fellow jach, I haven't been here (CSCO thread) long enough to comment.
Regards,
Fuzfo

"So, a good time to buy in, or perhaps wait awhile?" hold. most of
indexes are testing the 200 moving avg and the DOW & S&P can hardly
break it. NASDAQ is about to get there but don't sure if it will
break it or not. I dont think DOW will be 9000 (hope that I am wrong) given that the bad news (ASIA, e.g.) still there and eventually
it will coming back. I have bought enough all the big names that
I wanted before the run up. It's risky to enter at this point unless we
were in for long-term (at least 1 year). It's hard to tell until
the end of DEC when the tax sell-off season end. I think buying
opportunities still possible by JAN, though it is not a good idea
to timing the market.

The only sector that I am dare to get in now is the drug sector as
the group has strong earnings and little effect by the economy tumoil
Bought PFE at 95 last week after earnings. Good luck.
