You're right. And I would expect to see increased "backlash" against homosexuals if the fringe continues to chip away at the consensus view of the moral base of this country. And backlash will beget backlash and so on and so on. It's no different than liberals decrying the "agenda" of the RR based on the perceived notion that somehow any adoption of "their issues" into law will subrogate the rights of the leftists. I tend to think of the body politic in the country as basically represented by the bell curve with the vocal, vociferous arguments on the extreme edges pushing hardest and loudest to conform society to them instead of the other way around.

Sheesh. That explains why all the out rage on this thread directed at religious folk. How extreme. Do we have to have an educational initiative to teach the youth about tolerance for liars. I think that lying is a life style choice. According to Michelle all politicians do it.
