First, there's nothing to indicate that the 30,000 boards were end customer returns, they just as easily could've been returns from the OEM's before they were put into a computer. If they were end customer returns, then the 128ZX must of had serious problems and this was a big expense for the OEM.

Second, Banshee has only come available recently, so the OEM's basically had a choice of ATI or nVidia. Now Banshee and Savage are also choices.
