Rashid: News flash couple of hours ago to the effect that Detroit Diesel would take large write off of some sort and separately that J Reno (at DOJ) would be announcing largest ever environmental civil fine for diesel engine maker violations of clean air act. May be impetus tor TRBD move that started @ midday. Sell on news? Good trading. Peace and Justice --- Patrick P.S. EDIT: CNBC story says fines based on software circumvention of polution control emmissions. Allowed trucks to pass inspections but then bypassed controls at highway speeds. Don't know how this would help TRBD, but perception is all that's needed. -P-
