I have to warn you about Shoah, it's done much like the Civil War. Still shots and interviews of actual holocaust survivors. It's very difficult to watch and I found it much more "graphic" because of the verbal descriptions than Schindler's list. Your son might want to preview it. bp

One more shot at Hollywood - Fargo. Even more shocking than the wood chipper scene is the blurb at the beginning of the movie telling the audience that the following movie is based on a true story. It isn't. It really got to me because I fell for it and spent days after I saw it asking people if they remember reading about the case.

The Cohen brothers were having a little joke but the joke really is on Hollywood. You literally cannot believe anything you see or hear. How many years from now will they take a poll asking if you believe the holocaust happened and 60% say no? I'll say 10 years.

Im sure your son already knows about Shoah if hes a teacher. It won a bunch of awards in the historical documentary field and became so renowned it was reviewed by Siskel and Ebert.
