To Skip Paul: Perhaps Ericsson has its reputation to lose. But the question is - its reputation for what? So far "reputation" has seemed to be less important than blocking the growth and spread of CDMA by any method (fair or foul) in Ericsson's bag of tricks. The question to me still is - why? Sure there is a short run gain in FUD. But in the meantime Ericy is the only major telecom equip supply company not benefiting in any way from the spread and rapid growth of CDMAOne. Is the target the court trial in Feb 1999, a settlement with the Q resulting in "cross licensing", or what? Curious. Chaz PS Do you suppose Ericsson management actually believes its own stuff (and nonsense)? Hard to credit that - but maybe so.
