This ones just for you Keithsha...

The NDS message is starting to get out. I have not seen as much NDS news on the media rags as I have seen this week. I had a strong feeling that the Lucent announcement was a very big deal for Novell and NDS, and I was right.

Here is the latest news. And again, MSFT had better start making a plan on how to stop NDS because if CISCO breaks down from the pressure and signs with NDS, then Active Directory will become an "Also Ran" statistic...

At the later part of the News, look at the partners that Novell is working on signing up.

"At the time IBM selected MS-DOS, DR-DOS did not exist. Digital Research was selling CPM at the time."

Didn't DR sell CP/M-86 at the time for about $300 to compete with MS-DOS at $60? Similar OS at a fifth the cost: no wonder MSFT won. PW.
