MICRON TECHNOLOGY, INC., ANNOUNCES FILING OF ANTI-DUMPING PETITI

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1998--Micron Technology,
Inc., today announced it filed a petition with the U.S. Department
of Commerce and the International Trade Commission concerning Dynamic
Random Access Memory (DRAM) semiconductors from Taiwan.

The petition alleges companies from Taiwan which are exporting
DRAMs and DRAM modules into the United States are doing so at prices
which are lower than the cost of manufacturing. The petition also
alleges that such imports are causing material injury to the United
States DRAM producers.

"There are signs that 64 MEG products in select configurations have
tightened. Manufacturers have pushed out deliveries in various products
such as 16MX4 EDO and 16MX4 SYNCH in both PC-66 and PC-100." according to AICE
