Thanks Roger. Good luck on YHOO. I remember you liked BROC awhile back as a long. Did they change their symbol?

Consider INKT

Inktomi is releasing 1.1 million shares from lock up on October 28, 1998. This will increase the float from 2.3 mil to 3.4 mil and allow the relatively large short position of 1.2 mil to possibly cover.

biz.yahoo.com

The company is also registering to sell another 3.0 mil shares to the public. 2.7 mil is expected to come from shareholders.

The revenue and losses were in line or a little better than the estimates. But INKT is still going for a little less than 100 times trailing revenue at current price levels.

I am unfortunately underwater -- short at 79 on INKT.

Roger, EBAY should be shortable very soon. IPO day + 30 is just about here. A risky short, but it should come back to earth eventually.

Thanks...Mark
