Kind of liberating isn't it when you break free from analysis/paralysis in one corner and wishful thinking/hoping on the other. Although a bit poorer, I am sure.

But not to worry, we will recover our losses in the future. For now, there are much better plays. Good luck.

Martin, you may recall that I exited HUM about 2 weeks ago, taking with me huge losses with I immediately recouped buying Newcourt Credit Group (enough said about NCT since I got my wrists slapped for mentioning it on this thread once before).

What irked me the most was the sideways dance I always received during conversations with IR. It will be a long time before I jump in again but will always keep one eye on HUM...

My waking days are now devoted to following under-valued/under-followed companies. Please consider investigating Pender Capital
(PNL - Alberta Stock Exchange) with first a visit to their web page: www.pendercapital.net and then a call to their President Gilbert Kang or Drew Farion (IR) @ 1-888-244-7722. They are now trading at $0.75-0.80 and once they close the deal to buy Granigroup (Canada's largest stone company - very well established company since 1930's, they should be trading at $3.00+ (by Dec/98). Their mission is to become North America's largest stone/granite (quarries & fabrication) through two more near-term acquisitions by the end of '99, at which time they should be a $6.00-$7.00 stock.

Good luck with wherever you choose to go from here...
