Kendall, I think this is a buying opportunity if I ever saw one. With all the short shares outstanding lowering the $1.57 estimate by 10 cents doesn't justify a %50 decline. The dollar has weakened substantially so this should help overseas revenue which I believe is the source of the lower estimate.

I'll probably buy in the morning. Anything below 10 is a buy. Hopefully I'll have a chance before the covering. With a relatively small float there is a chance of a near-term short squeeze -but not much.

Regards,
-Andrew.

I'm in at 9 1/2. Happy as can be! LSN is a cash cow.

These are my favorite plays. Have done it recently with CCMC, REV, MTC, INFM, PSQL, and DSTM (only yesterday).

Warning! You need a strong stomach to jump in and buy these on the day of the crash, and the willingness and ability to make it a long-term hold.

The short interest is the icing on the cake here.

From today's departure from previous (Oct. 7) guidance that they are on track to meet estimates, coupled with the delay in earnings, i conclude that the most likely reason is an argument with their accountant over GAAP. Worst-case (IMO) is that have to do some one-time charges to clean up the balance sheet.

Other possibility is that they got nailed in the recent "credit crunch."

Either way, i'm betting it's a one-time event. Let's just hope that it's not another ADVH or VVUS. I've been in enough of those already.

Cheers,

David
