AMD would have done much better to maintain a smaller market share with more reasonable pricing and let the overall market growth fuel AMD's growth.

We've been through this before. Intel sets the pricing. AMD sells at the highest prices their customers will accept. Intel has been trying to kill AMD with lawsuits, price cuts, slot 1, MMX, KNI, etc. for years. In spite of this concerted effort, AMD is finally gaining a foothold- and as an INTC investor you have reason to be concerned.
