Duke thanks for the post. For some reason my news supplier didn't have it . The earnings news far out weighed the departure of the pres. I hope this puts an end to meli's association with davx and the rest of the losers in this group.

Duke,

The Good news is really GREAT NEWS! (Melita came in at $.19 vs. $.17 expectations --- which were pretty lofty expectations. They CRUSHED the quarter! 46% EPS growth and a PE of 17 ??!! I think someone will finally wake up once they examine these numbers. The stock should be rewarded.

The bad news isn't that bad. Actually, I think it is almost a non-event. They will find another COO that fits into their team structure. And in the interim, Alex will continue to actively run this company as he always has. Remember, this company has never missed a quarter and their business has never been stronger.. Which would you rather have to deal with as a shareholder: To plug a new Pres/COO into this business model that is setting EPS records........Or have long term senior management that is facing business problems. Go with the earnings!

Forgive the Star Trek comparison, but MELI is like the Borg......and Alex and his team are the collective. Resistance is futile.....and nothing has slowed down Melita yet. Melita will find another COO and during the interim this company will not skip a beat and continue to assimilate all those in their path.

Their conference call today was one of the most positive I have ever heard. The replay number is 402-220-0144 and all MELI shareholders should take a few minutes and listen to this. Very informative. All the pieces seem in place: International growth is up, DSO is going down, beating out the competition and establishment as the #1 player in the industry (did I mention they beat expectations by 2 cents!). Take Care all!
