Craig,

Hey Craig, you don't seem to be giving 3DNow! enough credit. I have a K6-2 with a G200 and there is a huge difference for D3D games.. even for Unreal, with the G200 d3d wrapper and the new 3dnow optimized version of Unreal.

Something a lot of people seem to forget when arguing "you need optimized this that and the next thing" is that every game is optimized for Intel's FPU.. Now with games being optimized for AMD's instructions it's just "fair".. that's all..

Steve

Craig,

Have you noticed the prices of AMD K-2 processors? 350 is down to ~ $140. It makes me want to swap my P166+. The only problem is the voltage and the fact I would have to swap the mobo as well. I may get M2-333 and run it at 3x83 MHz, which my mobo does support.
