My 2 cents

Bob F and crew has did a good job so far but the FUD factor is still out there

The Red Brick merger needs to be done in a timely and cost efficient manner, and the majority of the Red Bricks customers need to come over to IFMX not convert to the competitors

The sales figure of 185M was right on target, We need to see over 200m for this quarter

and the perferreds, I have read alot about this and it is still confusing.

I believe only the warrants are left and it seems to be they are convertable to stock at 7 something a share

An I correct on this assumption?

Thanks in Advance

I didn't read anything that carefully, so this is really a question,
but is IFMX really growing market share? My impression is that the
RDBMS engine market is stronger than analysts were saying it would
be (hard to imagine that analysts would be wrong...), so I had
supposed that these numbers could mean that IFMX is getting their
share of the market.

Also, while it is depressing to see IFMX get no respect for solid
improvements, this is also happening for ORCL, so it could be for
the same reasons (whatever those are). I favor ORCL's new technology
over IFMX's, so I can't say that I am astonished that IFMX stock
price is stuck, although part of that is a result of my being resigned
to the situation with ORCL (in which I am long).

To get to $20 won't IFMX have to make over $1/share of the right
color money AND demonstrate an ability to capitalize on the
consulting/applications opportunities of their RDBMS sales on a
long-term basis? Do you really think they can do that in 14 months?

when IFMX in Q1 98 was in the 7 to 8 dollars, expectation was to loose money for the year, and start to become profitable in Q4 98.

then they raised it to 12 cents earnings for 98 in Q2.
In Q3 raised it to 20 cents, and lately they raised it to 21 cents, and by next week they will raise it to 27 cents, and here we are at the bottom of its price range.
