Stockman, Speaking for the small businessman, (500+ employees) we have begun the second wave of expanding our investments in office productivity tools. We've switched to Dell and are ramping up our Y2K replacement rate to 10 per month for the next 12 months. Adding new enterprise servers, standby servers (Backup), NOTES Domino servers, new VPN servers,adding IS staff, etc...Dell has an expanding sales focus on small to medium size businesses where they and I believe the growth prospects are very strong since our implementation phases generally lag the large business anywhere from 6-24 months. What your company did 18 months ago, we are doing now. As for Gerstner, he is only speaking for IBM's inability to compete in a changing market...cement shoes..what else is new ?
