never said it was accurate, I don't use them. the 3 points are usually an intermediate high or low. say about 4-6 weeks from start to finsh. Pivot points to me require 3 days of higher highs from a low and 3 lower lows for a high.

I believe the regression I calculated for ABTE is a valid starting point. It back tests extremely well on a rather unusual pivot, the 8/31 low, which isn't technically a pivot but Claud tells me that time frames often compliment one another so perhaps thats a valid channel line. It looks like it ran above the channel on 9/11 and 9/14, while maintaining the channel top while price was below it.

It tests nicely here from the 9/1 Low and the run from 10/8 to 10/19 which is where I stumbled onto it by dumb luck and a quick eye, but I'd be interested in hearing how you and others, particularly Claud, see it. When and if abte runs it could see 5.62 in a NY second, but expect it might hesitate there while it revists the channel line from the 9/1 Low.
