Hi Brian - I am a very infrequent visitor and poster but my opinion is that AG obviously realized he had made a mistake and figured he would correct it ASAP, which does not necessarily imply that he will lower again in Nov. Didn't he also recently state that there were signs of wage inflation?

Thanks
Dave

Brian, I'll take the market the way it is. I'm surprised that the
first rate cut was ignored and only the second had an effect.
An exaggerated effect. Yes, I've seen the explanations - but why
didn't the first cut count? I do not expect an answer to this -
just wanted to vent. And the fundamentals for AMAT and the semi
equips didn't turn up either. Remember that very pessimistic article
a few days ago?
But, as someone observed earlier, every passing day brings us one day
closer to recovery (orders, that is).
