larry, i don't play luck. i get what i want or i don't play. i'm still in the options game 'cause i'm good. i'm not making much money 'cause my technique has sucked. unlike most people, though, i admit error, learn and move on. even if you said to buy puts i wouldn't as mu isn't where i want it and the industry is forming a little. the dolts can take that, extrapolate into eternity and pretty soon mu is $60. you know is was absolutely bearish to the max when mu was in the $50s. that was the right call but i wasn't patient enough to play the stock price, dram price collapse disconnect. i was correctly bearish much earlier but the dolts with more money than i made me pay for a long time. now, somebody else will pay on the way up and i'll be there for any major down moves. sold my cmb puts at $40 and haven't bought them back yet even though it is much higher. i now get what i want or don't play.
