Jach,

Did you notice that CSCO was using the LS1010? This isn't a core switch (like the 8000 series BPX/Axis from StrataCom). Cisco probably felt that competing with their true core switch would put FORE and IBM to shame. Sure would have been interesting to see ASND in that competition.
