I think it is also funny that some of the Japanese DRAMs are actually fab'ed in Taiwan. So is Micron going after them too? Let's not forget Siemens too. Geesh, who knows, maybe even Micron gets wafers from Taiwan...lol...what a joke.

It was a typo -- sorry.

It is not really a secret. With Wafer Tech doing mostly logic the next step was for the parent company to build a fab in the US, at the Camas site It would be a joint effort with TSMC and Wafer Tech.

Appleton and the CEO of Wafer Tech have no love lost between them. It was a situation similar to that of Lowrey, and his departure.
