<OT> speeding
In Montana all you got was a $5.00 waste of energy ticket if you acted decent. Got a few of them.
Remember when Evans made the freeways 50MPH.?

Whats the ticket cost in LA's HOV- pretty steep plus that stupid toll lane on the 91 Riverside freeway

>>> with a $20 bill neatly folded underneath of it.

Reminds me of the 'pencil cop' that used to work the freeway in Chicago in the 50's and 60's. He'd pull you over and start telling you how he sold pencils. $5 pencils, $10 pencils... Then he's look at you and say, "Now you, I think you need about a $20 pencil, don't you?"

Ah, what a civilized way he had about him. The bribe was the same exact price as the ticket, and no insurance hassles.

Of course the new professionalism is nice, too. At least they all can really read and write these days, which wasn't always true.

Hey, how did we get off on this, I forget now. Oh, yeah. Hate crimes, and why they are federal.

Well, that's it for me, goodnight.
