AMLN has an accumulated deficit of $210M as of end of 97, and $43M in 98 to date, J&J has pumped in another $174M booked as revenue, so I figure about $425M blown to date. Seems about right for development of a drug 1/2 a bil - YUCK!!!

A double for GZTC gets it 2/3 of the way back to where it was at $12. A double for the model puts us back to where we were in the spring. A double doesn't impress me much I guess. As I've always contended, when the markets in general suck, biotechs will shine.

I'm dreading winter too. We've had some just great weather lately in the mid-70s and lower 80's but with cold nights. I'm surprised you got rid of the all wheel drive. I love my all-wheel 98 Grand Caravan. Haven't had it in snow yet, but I can't make the wheels spin when I punch it to the floor in a pouring rain. I do that in my 90 front wheel Caravan and the front end dances down the street for half a block while I hit and hold 5000 rpm. I sold on all-wheel drive. I doubt I eve own another vehicle without it.

Yeah the thread has done well. Been pretty quiet as of late, but given the depressing state of the markets and our not doing any buying while we got out of margin hell, it isn't surprising. But, we definitely have some followers who will react when something is posted. Congrats are due to all of the threadsters, they are who make it happen. AND CYTO IS THE MAN!!! He keeps up the accounting daily through feast and famine. I'm glad we have him as CFO!!! I certainly doubt I could have kept up with it with the dogged consistency that he has shown.

Get some winter bulbs in the ground so your spring comes early and lay in the fire wood and massage oil for use in front of the fire.

>>I'm glad we have him [CYTO} as CFO!!!<< Andy, does this mean the guys are finally gonna give me a raise??

Andy, nice to hear from you on the thread. The small cap bios sure have takin' a licking, but seem to have bottomed! GZTC got down to about 2.5. But the BIG caps, wow, pure dynamite.

Here in SoCal we're still having mostly clear, warm days. Cool weather hasn't hit yet.
