I heard the same story, but the people that I talk to are people that I learn to trust in the past decade. So I find it hard to believe that it is a North American wide conspiracy, if it is, it must be one hell of a conspiracy, as I heard this from 3 different people, neither one of them know the others. One of them heard Barrick is about to file a 13 D anytime. And I believe the truth is somewhere in between.
Regardless, I settle for a conservative $5 in the next business day or two.
