>Your hateful paranoid fantasies about homosexuals and murderers in your midst show that you have not conquered your demons.Keep working on it, my friend. You can overcome. When I was 16 I read a book by William Burroughs that depicted a homosexual sex scene. I nearly threw up. I put the book down and stopped reading it. It was only through years of education and life experience that I came to have an enlightened view of homosexuality.<

Ah the purity of youth. Your response at sixteen was natural, and more in line with my so called "hateful paranoia". I merely have held to decency and remained true to my moral sensibilities. Ostensibly after years of "education" and "life experience", you have not remained true to yours. Of course this is so very unimpressive and certifiably liberal.

>Johannes, I would be absolutely delighted to be cast as a demon in your bizarre morality play. I view you and your rigid worldview with a touch of pity.<

You are not the demon, and I never claimed you were. Yet you certainly reveal yourself, after having been "educated" and after having had "experience", to now be tortured by them. They are so much more savvy than you, having artfully conducted you over a path beginning with a revulsion of what was naturally repugnant to you, to a wholesale defense of perversion, having convinced you all along that this is "enlightenment". So blinded are their passengers by gentle acclimation to perversion, that it is a certainty that those who would reject filth to uphold that which is virtuous, eventually will appear to them hateful. Here is where thinking men must direct their pity. Your "enlightenment" has caused you to wallow in filth, to drink it and spew it publicly, and it has clouded your thinking such that you now think it all a virtue. This is the pity of the ages.

>And it's my country, too.<

An unfortunate truth. Very well, I nevertheless have no fear of your "enlightenment" (though you obviously fear mine). To illustrate the fact, I now take leave of you, knowing good men everywhere will always throw up when confronted by the perversion you so gaily uphold. I take my leave knowing good and decent men will never allow themselves to become "educated" into sheer filth.

A parting shot at you . There is a vast difference between Christian belief and an action that by nature implies an organic contradiction to the basis of human existence. Now that you have the principle, I pay you a much undeserved compliment in leaving you to reason with it.

A shot for good measure: that you can so closely identify with a bomb is most appropriate, though I do not think our country's purchase of a bomb normally consists in a direct assault upon the identity of its own subjects (evidently you do, and this is but more liberal stupidity). Indeed, such purchases typically are made with an effort to preserve the identity of the subjects. You take offense on this issue merely because it is convenient to do so. My saying this should come to you as another compliment, as I here trust you are not yet so corrupt in your mind as to not realize it to be true.
