Nokia up 4%, Ericy up 5%, in Europe according to CNBC.
Nokia claims #1 in handsets, 81% growth net profit.
Also, Airtouch to REPLACE 200 Mil $ of MOT equip

It's a sad day. The mobile phone sales growth could not break the 100% growth barrier, after all. By next quarter it will be too late: Motorola will have its new phones on the market and the growth will probably slump from over 90% to mid-eighties. Hard to avoid feelings of bitterness and dissillusionment... this quarter could have been so much more without the current economic turmoil. I'm glad to see Ollila is holding up pretty well... he bears these setbacks with real stoicism.

The network sales did not quite grow three times faster than Ericsson's, either. And the profit margin did not reach 21%. We live in a world of pain, brothers and sisters. Keep your faith.
