Thank you. Remain in recall mode for further queries, bot blevins, you have done well. Check your Hal 9000 processor for its thoroughness index. If the planet scan function has the limits set to contemporary/usual knowledge bases, please reset your registers to "all possiblities" and the search area to "withheld information" and "secret suppressed databases" and "info for low budget enterprises". Continue the research.

Vun kvestion. Iz is possible to get a mail agent or fetchmail to check mail on demand or for a user to start such and agent not root, and to check all mail on demand only? Right now fetchmail operates as a root started process and cannot be invoked by a user and operates as a background process. Also fetchmail and /or sendmail I cannot tell to use a masquerade and to send the mail to user@some_other_domain.com. It wants to fetch the mail for user@my_computer_name_under_linux.com. How do I get it to fetch the mail for a_particular_user@a_particular_domain.com? it has to ignore my network name for the computer which is using local looping and has no permanent IP and get what it considers I guess is "somebody elses mail". The mail is hosted under POP and is not addressed to my computer.
