That news came out 10/20 on NTL's site ntl.com Here's their NTL Digital Services site digital.ntl.com Divi had the news out. They mentioned Pace but not Cube.. divi.com In addition to DiviCom, NTL's new digital cable system draws on products and services from a number of vendors. Other key suppliers include Pace Micro Technology (set-top boxes), PowerTV (middleware for the set-top box), ICL (interactive services and applications), Nagravision (conditional access), Lysis (master scheduler) and Compaq Computer Corporation (Near video-on-demand servers). As part of the system build-out, DiviCom engineers will integrate DiviCom hardware and software products with those from the above vendors to deliver a complete, end-to-end solution.

Nice to see some validation that CUBE can hold its own in "higher function" set tops. It would be nice if they could do the same here at home! One Q successfully running a two-way trial of a DVB/DAVIC return-channel over a live cable network." What does this statement refer to? Return data? Is this how all cable modems function, ie anything new here? Thanks in advance.
