This message is to the entire thread; not you or anyone specifically, Osci:

I'm not real clear on what the topic of this thread is supposed to be, but I think it'd be safe to define it as "about charts, not people".

However, of the posts written here in the past week, very few are what I would consider strictly on-topic, even using my loose definition. Most of the posts either have nothing to do with charts, focusing instead on people, or make nothing more than a cursory nod at the topic while discussing people.

This thread has become so polluted with off-topic discussion, baiting, sniping, and fighting, it doesn't look at all useful. The apparently useful posts (on-topic) are so outnumbered by the off-topic ones, I would think people who want to learn from the thread likely feel it isn't worth the effort.

Please try to make a "clean slate" of it from this point on. Keep the posts strictly on-topic with no discussion of people, not even minor jabs at people in posts that are otherwise on-topic.

Stick to the topic, please.

If anyone wants to reply to this post, please do so via PM; not public message. Posting such things as "That's what I've been trying to tell people all along", etc would be just as off-topic as the fighting I've been seeing.

Regards,

SI Admin (Bob)
