Pravin,
The key is that 350 MHz is the sweet spot and the ASP is >$100.
I don't think the market realizes how good AMDs yields are on 350 MHz chips or on 380s and 400s. AMD has already shipped about a couple hundred thousand 400s. They should ship about 1 million K6-2-400s for the quarter.
Did you see/hear the boys on Squawk box on CNBC this morning absolutely TRASH ANALYSTS as having ulterior motives and to take whatever they say with a grain of salt? Amazing.
Jim

Pravin , re. CC and 350 mhz
What Jerry said was the 350 mhz would be over 50% , he did not specify
how much at this point . Since there was almost 3 months to go until the end of the quarter there would be too much guess work involved . One thing is clear though from the fast ramp in one quarter from 1M to 3.8M on .25 ,the .25 process is much better than .35 and the reason appears to be the implementation of K6 design (.25 version) rather than any difference in the wafer processing method .
