The company is involved in the development and marketing of natural food supplements believed to improve health and even fight illness. AHS shares staged a sudden sharp rise when the company announced preliminary data suggesting its hepatitis-C treatment had positive effects on a test group. For now the stock appears to be holding onto much of its recent gain, but the usual pullback following the quick rise has prompted some requests to the Insider Group for an opinion on the Alta story.
