Jim, for those that like to keep up with what processors are being featured at local computer stores, I have a report to make. The San Jose Mercury News today had an ad by a new wholesale store on their grand opening. They are on Mowry, in Newark, which is a suburb or actually incorporated part of Fremont CA, right off 880. Name is D - In Direct. The Merc had a half page ad or so on page three of the business section. They described nine fully outfitted PCs, and the processors were: Celeron 266, Celeron 300A, Celeron 333, PII 266, PII 333, PII 333, PII 350, PII 400 and PII 450. No AMD or Cyrix.

This is for those that revel in writing here that they visited Computermart, or something, and they saw that the prominently displayed machines were AMD and Cyrix, while the Intel based ones were near the back with the used microwave ovens and college dorm refrigerators.
