Taking the risk of getting on the wrong side of the locals here, I have to say that IMO this managed earnings stuff is a bunch of BS. The quarterly earnings are intended to give us a snapshot of how the company is doing. With all of these loans, writeoffs, recovery of earlier reserves, revenue from previous loans, etc., on the books, we have to use a microscope and a set of tweezers to get a read on the strength of business. Who here thinks this is a good thing?
