A couple of questions to ponder about the fax. When did it expire? Was there a bit more detail on the NDA? A "friend" of mine is a MCSE, you know those people who install networks and make 6 figures, anyways, he had to sign a non-compete agreement with the company he worked for. He ended up quiting the company and working a few miles down the road. Of course, his former employer sued, but he won b/c the former employer can't prevent him from making a living. Of course, the laws might be a little different for this situation...
