Well, I have an American Express card and try not to use it. Only got it for the double miles offer two years ago and will cancel before they nick me on the annual fee. I hate that they sell some kind of false self-respect/ elitism in their ads. I hate that they will stop allowing charges - without warning - if you change your pattern of use. I have stood by the cash register waiting only to be interrogated on the phone by the Amex person. Yuck.... What they sell (I mean only the card and traveller's checks) is more expensive and a worse product than the competition offers. Did I say that I hate those ads? Peter P.S. My wife said I should communicate more.
