Craig, I agree that the internet is definitely the future. I think the big question is which companies will truly make it in the long-run. The currnet problem with the company seems to be that they are losing more and more money each quarter. I don't see EGGS rising until they can reverse this trend. But if they do, EGGS could be the company of the future--who knows. At any rate, we will not know that for at least the next few weeks, if not months. If I were going long on an internet stock, I would rather invest in a company that doesn't seem to be as risky as EGGS.
What also worries me about EGGS is all the hype that it suffered over the past few months, first by Riley and then later on by those wild one-day jumps. Many investors will wait for EGGS to settle down before investing.
So I guess my position is that short-term EGGS will have to jump over a lot of hurdles if it plans to recover. And if it can do that, and it can become a good company in the quarters to come, then it will prove to be a good investment. Traders and investors, though, should be aware of the danger of EGGS going low (4-5) before climbing up again.
Best of luck to all,
Rommy
